I was not happy with their services at all. I eventually disconnected my phone and went strictly with cell phones. They got my name wrong on my account. First AND last name!! After numerous calls of being told they would remedy the situation, I finally gave up. I'm glad that I don't have a residential phone, when the new phone books arrived, low and behold...my name was still wrong!! No one would have been able to find my number!

Got cheaper for me since they took over from valorcrap...

They did mess up a workorder though and cancelled the wrong line on me... almost cost me alot of money.....

Better since the merger(s) or whatever are over. Some problems with ground hum were slow to get fixed, but the DSL is a good value. If I could get rid of the unneeded voice part, I would save over half. Too many hidden fees, no matter who the TelCo is.

I liked valor... but windstream is okay...

I got cheaper DSL since they took over...

We made some changes to the account, but then the techs screwed it up, they cancelled voice services on the wrong line, and kept dsl services on the other....

So basicly I had 1 line with just voice, and 1 line with just dsl (no dialtone) so why did you need voice to have DSL ? its a crock....

For me this was a better value for Internet than cableone. I can't tolerate the cableone SMTP outgoing port 25 being blocked, which blocks outgoing mail on your own domain. However, The download speeds are only "Basic" level for Netflix's new view online option they came out with and I have the 3.0Mbps

I pay for 3.0 Mbps and NEVER get over 98 to 400 Kbps! (98 Kbps isnt even twice as fast as dial up) I haved called over and over and have even taken a day off of work so i could be here while they worked at my house on the problem. At 5pm they simply left stating that they would be doing an upgrade in the area that night and i should see major results the next day. Needless to say, that didnt happen. When i called tonight, they said they don't even have record of someone coming to my house! Don't waste your time or money on it! By the way, i live in Liberty Eylau on George Thomas so if you are near me think twice before signing a contract!

Much better than the Valor we used to have. Still have trouble with the internet going down frequently but they are always quick to work on it and helpful in the troubleshooting!!!

Windstream is OK with me. They have good people that took the time to run a line for free to my other room. Haven't had any problems with DSL that they couldn't handle.
