Introductory prices aren't too bad...it's an arm and leg after that though. Had tons of problems with internet service. Switched to Dish Network and Windstream, much cheaper and hardly any problems. (and now I can afford to add movie channels to my package and my bill is still cheaper than with cable)

So far, the internet service has been doing well. In two years we have only had to have them come out twice for internet issues. Now, the cable TV is another story. Whats with all the cutting out? And while watch a fav show, the screen freezes and pixels out all the time. I was told that satellite was bad about doing that, not cable. Then my HD channels will go off. I call and they have me reboot the DVR and other boxes to no avail. They schedule a tech and by the time he arrives the next day....it's back on! I don't care for the pricing either. Once the introductory price expired, our bill sky-rocketed! And there's no leeway on getting any other breaks or specials either. Once they have you hooked, that's it.

I'll give them an average. I only subscribe to the internet service and only because it had an "introductory" offer of about $30/mo for 6 months. After 6 months the price escalates. I plan on dropping the service when the price goes up, but for now the throughput seems acceptable - plenty of bandwidth to do what I need.

I've had SLOW dial up internet, and NEVER will again. I LOVE the speed cable gives me as I'm an "online gamer". Cable One's service department has been prompt with same or next day service. Some outages due to squirels and trees in need of trimming along powerlines. This is a city wide problem they need to address and resolve, in conjunction with the other utility companies. Other outages due to their upgrades, etc. Although necessary, very annoying. I pay $83.98 a month for basic TV cable, 1 very basic channel upgrade, internet w/modem rental. To me as a single father, raising 2 children, it's a bit expensive. In the next 2 years when everyone has to go to HD TV, and I have to replace my TV's, I will at that time also look into the packages and pricing of other competitors of DSL companies.

I hat Cable One with a passion!! I have had repeated problems with signal dropping. Last week a tech came out stated we were getting 59 and it drops when a level hits 60, it is supposed to stay at around 30 he said. He cleaned the splitter outside and he got it around 35 and said it should be fine. It worked good for about one day, then started dropping games (sons play XBox 360) and I would lose my internet. We had someone come out today who I am not sure what he was doing he said he got our signal to 55 and acted as if that was good. I told him it was 35 after the last tech finished and that is where we were told the level should be. He said he would come out tomorrow then said to just call if it acts up and THEN he will come out and adjust the drop. It is at 55 of coarse it will act up. I got frustrated and told him my husband would call later and speak with a supervisor on why we can't get service and he finally agreed to come over tomorrow. Another day wasted waiting on Cable None.

Fired them long ago. Couldn't get straight answers on our rate increases and channel changes, found a better value in Dish Network. DSL works fine for me, so I cut the Cable.
Got tired of the signal going out too many times. Sattelite fades once in a while from rain, but they were much worse, and wouldn't listen, so I voted with my money.

I think it is unfair that in order to get some of the better chanels you have to get a box and then pay more for them.

Other than being extremely expensive, they aren't too bad!! When we used them (have Dish Network now), they were great!! Very pricey though... Dish Network is just as good and much cheaper!!!
