They push value, what you get is imported stuff from the lowest bidder. (Quality is sacrificed for 'low prices.') It's all about their bottom line and profits. I only go here when I'm desperate in the middle of the night.

I really dislike Walmarts all together. They are crowded, loud, and it gives me a headache to go there. HOWEVER....This walmart is the worst!!! This store is disgustingly dirty. The shelves are always a mess...just a trashy store! I'm grossed out each time I do decide to pop in there! The employees are rude and act like you don't exist. Newsflash...without customers, employees aren't even needed! I blame management for the problems in this store. I know good help is really hard to find...but please! RAISE YOUR STANDARDS and stay on top of your employees to take pride in their departments. Cleanliness is non existant in this store...The Arkansas side store could teach you a thing or two about it! It's not near my home, but I still prefer to shop at that one, if I have to go to Walmart!

As far as Wal Mart Stores go, this is one of the poorer ones I have been in. I travel in my work, and use WalMart stores everywhere I go. This one has the WORST case of Basket virus I ever saw. Half the time, a minimum of 10% of the parking spaces are blocked by baskets, and while I realize it is the CUSTOMERS responsibility to put the baskets in a return area, there are so FEW return areas that it is simply easier to just leave them at your place. IN ADDITION, the store apparently does not care to hire a couple of basket collectors to gather them up, so they sit all over the lot!!!

ALSO, on more than one occasion, I have attempted to purchase an item that was unmarked by either bar code or price, and it seems to be SUCH a job for the cashiers (half of whom can not do basic addition or subtraction without their cash registers doing it for them) OR for the "customer service" personnel to find out that price, that I have just LEFT the items and gone on home. I waited 15 minutes for the self service person to come to reset my machine the other day, and then, when it sort of crashed again, she acted like it was my fault and that I should just not try to use this aisle in the future. This is NOT my idea of customer service OR customer friendly equipment!!!

I will say I do like being able to buy a variety of items, get a haircut, bank, glasses, gas, etc. all in one location. HOWEVER, I've had some bad experiences with Walmarts also. I asked a clerk who was stocking items from a shopping cart onto the shelves if he could assist me. He said yes, just a second. I watched him make 3 more trips from the cart to the shelves stocking, wait on another customer, taking about 10 mins. I then walked over to the cashier there in the electronics dept. I was in and asked to speak to a manager and told her why. The clerk who was "suppose" to help me was standing there and told me, "I'm sorry, I didn't know you needed my help." I told him, "You know very well I asked for your help." He then proceeded to help me, but, he was unable because he lacked the knowledge or training. Another time, I went to pick up some pictures I had developed. There was an asst. store manager at the counter using their cutter to cut some signs for bicycles. I stood right in front of him for 2-3 minutes and he ignored me. Two other girls were running around with some scanners. I asked him if he could help me and he turned to a girl and asked her to help me. The girl held up her scanner and said she was busy. BUSY? She was doing something for the store, NOT a customer. There were 4 other customers standing there waiting. Finally, over 10 minutes later some other male employee came up and waited on us. This manager couldn't stop cutting papers to wait on us? One time I bought a dozen doughnuts, the cashier loaded my cart, NOT me, when I got to my car and was off loading my groceries I immediately noticed she had put the doughnuts into my cart, on top like she should have, but they were upside down. I took them back inside, got another dozen, took them to the customer service, stood in line about 10+ minutes, only to be told I should have loaded them myself, and how did they know that I didn't do it after I left the store. They refused to exchange them. So I went back to my car and brought the 125+ dollars of groceries I bought, took them to the customer service, and made them refund my money on ALL my groceries, including the doughnuts. One time I called a day ahead to the eye doctor at Walmarts and made an appointment for the next day at 10am. I got there early, his officed was locked, so I went inside and sat in the area they show/sell the eye glasses. I knew the employee there so we chatted for 1 1/2 hours. During this time I checked the eye doctors office 3 times, he checked it for me at least 3 times himself. I finally got tired of waiting and upon leaving the eye doctor showed up. I went inside, another woman and her sone had walked in before me. The doctor told her son to come back into his office. Apparently they didn't hear him and the lady asked if he wanted her son to go back with him. VERY RUDELY he said. "that's what I just told you, if you were listening you would have heard me." I was floored by his remarks. When it came my turn, I mentioned to him that I made an appointment, how long and where I had been waiting, etc. He told me I couldn't have because he was there at 10am and didn't leave to go to some doctors appointment he made until 10:30am. I told him he could check with the employee I had waited with, and that I didn't like being called a "liar". I left and went somewhere else and got my eyes examined AND bought my glasses $239.00 somewhere else also. I later complained to Walmarts about him and they told me they leased that office and had no control over the eye doctor. Well, I have control over where I shop! Pulled into their automotive shop to have my car checked as it wouldn't start when I was leaving their parking lot. The man put it on a "hand held" device, and then told me the battery was bad, so I spent $60.00 for one. Then next morning my car didn't start. After jump starting it, I took it to a mechanics shop. They checked it out and found my fuse to my altenator had blown, NOT the battery. I took the new battery back and luckily they still had my old battery. Way to "mis-diagnos! You cost me more in gas and the mechanics, not to mention my time!HINT, you may want to increase the stock of your AC/heater filters 16x25x1, EZ Flow 30. You only have them in stock an average of 1 time per 4 visits. They do have some low prices on non-food items, which is why I guess I keep going back. However, when I think of the times I have to bring back items within a day or two because they dont work or break, it makes me wonder if I shouldn't have bought from some other store who carried a better quality item, even if it cost a bit more. My time, gas, standing in LONG lines at the customer service counter, shudders thinking of it. I've probably had 10+ more problems with them but won't hurt your eyes making you read them all, think you get my point. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed their prices rise in the last 6 months on groceries. Remember Sam Waltons book? Remember the store covered in banners, "We buy American", Made in America." All propoganda to get us to shop there. Next time there, pick up items and see just how many are, "Made in some OTHER country." The ONLY way we will get Walmarts to change is to STOP buying products made outside the USA. We will then help OUR economy, our citizens, our country, and NOT the pocketbooks of those who choose to buy foreign products. To many of our US companies go overseas to produce products with cheap labor. Let's send them a message!

Cashier too busy talking with friends to give me all my bags. Didn't notice until I got home, called and was told it was MY fault for not REMINDING the cashier to give me my bags. WHAT?! Then had to return and stand in customer service line for 30 minutes while it took the 3 brain surgeons at the counter that long to adjust a womans ticket in front of me--while her food sat in the cart and got warm. All this grief over 2 packages of hot dogs? No thanks, I'll shop at Albertson's.
